Today’s Top Calgary Instagram Model: Ryan Houston
Originally from Costa Rica, Ryan Houston moved to British Columbia when he was 17 years old and now resides in Calgary, Alberta.
Ryan’s hobbies are modelling, travelling, and athletics, which included learning how to surf when he was eight. Ryan is currently retired from playing soccer, but he was previously a member of the Costa Rica national soccer team and went on to play for the White Caps in Vancouver.

Ryan graduated from SAIT with a degree in civil engineering. He is not only known for his academic achievements but he is widely recognized for his modelling and travel photos. Most of Ryan’s followers on Instagram come from playing professional soccer.
He also recently started his TikTok account (@ryanhoustton) which already has a fast-growing following. After only two weeks, Ryan accumulated more than ten thousand followers. Almost all of Ryan’s TikTok videos focus on providing relationship advice and meaningful quotes.
