Born in the cold streets of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Christine Roberton Rachar moved to Calgary as a child, grew up in the south end of the city, and then eventually settled in Okotoks, Alberta. Christine is an aspiring lifestyle blogger, who has taken to her Instagram page (this.oak.house) to share all of her interior decorating and design tips as she renovates her 4,200 sq ft 1980s Oak covered home.
Christine also lends her hand to blogging about fashion, beauty and her unique experience of being widowed not once, but twice. Her perspective on grief and loss is inspiring to those who follow her. She also gives practical advice on everything from improving your mental health, raising a teenager as a single mom, house hacks and everything in between.
