Today’s Calgary Top Model: Saida Fares
Known professionally as “J’adore,” Saida Fares is a 23-year-old beauty from Calgary, Alberta.
She graduated from Mount Royal University with a Sociology degree and a minor in Entrepreneurship and plans to pursue law in the future. In addition to working as an outreach support worker at the Alpha House, she is a behavioural therapist at the Society for Treatment of Autism.
Saida truly believes “helping others brings you peace.”
Saida has always been a talented artist, painting or applying makeup. In 2016, she started her business “J’adore Beauty.” Saida does freelance makeup, designs strip lashes and much more.

Saida’s content on social media, such as Tiktok (@Jadorebeautyy), is now more about her travel adventures than her makeup. Saida spent the summer of 2021 travelling in the Middle East, visiting three cities in Turkey and exploring the country of Jordan. As a result, several of her videos began circulating and going viral during that time, giving her a new following of 12.7k.
Saida finds the most rewarding aspect of travelling to be meeting people from all around the world. She has met some incredible individuals abroad and had great conversations. Saida shares that she has changed the way she lives after having those meaningful conversations. Saida also recently volunteered in South Africa for over a month. While working alongside some of the most knowledgeable people, she gained insight and knowledge about the endangered animals in the area.
Though Saida enjoys being in front of the camera, her true passion is makeup. Therefore, Saida tends to be backstage more often prepping models. Saida has been taking part in a bridal expo, a show with RAW artists in Calgary for the last few years. Saida, however, tends to work more freelance these days. Saida is always open to working with talented individuals and organizations. A few exciting things are in store for Saida in the upcoming months, and she cannot wait to share them with you.
