Today’s Calgary Top Model: Selena Anderson
Living in Calgary since 2018, 19-year-old Selena Anderson was raised in Claresholm, Alberta. She is currently in the Law and Society undergraduate program at the University of Calgary, after which she will continue her education to work in corporate law.
Selena isn’t interested in traditional ideas of settling down and having a family; instead, she wants to travel around the world, and live life lavishly and to the fullest. As a result of her lifestyle, Selena found time to coach Junior High girls’ basketball this year. She shares that this is something she truly loves and enjoys.

Selena wouldn’t describe herself as an influencer. She is very humbled by the popularity she has gained on her multiple platforms. In May 2021, Selena began receiving attention when she posted a video of herself in a bikini on her TikTok (@selena.francesca). Her following quickly grew from this point on, now currently having 72k followers.
Her content includes lip-syncing, current trends, fitness, and travel. Selena received a lot of requests from brands asking for collaborations, PR packages, and promotional videos after two of her videos went viral. Some of these brand deals include BangerOfTheDay, Flat Tummy Co, BondiBoost, NKD Underwear, and Cupshe Swimsuits.
The gym is one of many focal points of Selena’s life, where she works hard to stay fit. While growing up, Selena was always active and involved in sports. She is very optimistic about future opportunities and hopes to work with other bikini brands soon.
