Griffins re-sign captain Brian Lashoff

For many years Brian Lashoff has been a fixture on the Grand Rapids Griffin and has signed a contract of remaining attached with the organization for the next season.

The Griffin has also signed a two-year deal with Tylor Spezia.

The 31-year-old defenseman has the distinction of serving as Captain for the two past seasons and is ranked second on the Franchise list of games which was played with 580 and is behind only Travis Richards (665).

Lashoff is among those active players of AHL who never changed club but have spent their entire career with the same club and in the history of the league, he is at the fourth position among one-team players.

Lashoff has collected 125 points and 31 goals in Griffin’s Calder Cup championship teams in 2013 and 2017 including five goals and11 assists in 67 games in 2021-22.
