Recently, Canada Basketball has announced its Hall of Fame classes for 2021 and 2022, headlined by well-reputed and competent legends like Steve Nash, Angela (Johnson) Straub, Steward Granger, Tony Simms, and Rick Fox as players.

“I would like to heartily congratulate each of our Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame inductees from both classes of 2021 and 2022 on behalf of the Canada Basketball, coaches, players, and fans of our game across the country,” said Michael Bartlett, President, and CEO of Canada Basketball.

“It is indeed a matter of great honour and pride to be enshrined in the Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame and all inductees this year made uniquely inspiring and lasting impacts at all levels of the sports,” said Michael Bartlett.

This summer Canada Basketball will be honouring the inductees as part of the Global JAM Event by hosting all legends brunch on July 10.

Nash, Fox, Simms and Granger all represented the Canadian team at different international events which include FIBA World Championships and Olympic Games and all four continued to play in NBA as well.
