Today’s Calgary Top Model: Brooke Nistor
Originally from Saskatoon, 25-year-old Brooke Nistor moved to Calgary in August 2020 in search of better opportunities. Before she moved, Brooke established a successful staffing business called Premier Staffing Agency. She has expanded to service all of Saskatchewan and Alberta, which has been great for her business. Premier Staffing Agency is still owned and operated by women, pays above minimum wage, and has a 90% female hiring record.
Despite having 26.1K followers on Instagram (@thebrookenistor), Brooke doesn’t consider herself an influencer; Brooke considers herself an entrepreneur. When women see Brooke’s social media, she hopes she can be a role model and encourage high learning for young women aspiring to be in business. With no financial help, Brooke founded her company at age 17 and has since discovered a wide variety of opportunities and experiences.

The current plans Brooke and her boyfriend Jesse are working on include a new business venture. Although Brooke can’t give any details on this yet, it has taken up most of their time. The two are excited about their future plans and are highly motivated.
